Welcome to the Next Trend Studio event "New Rules, Styles & Inspiration". Fashion and design continue to evolve through new rules on EU legislation and consumer shifts, moving design into a period where the added values of materials, form, colour, style, and expression are key. We have a great list of keynote speakers from our global forecasters joining us to explore the season and inspire you and your teams. This is a day full of presentations on design shifts that will give you and your team direction and insights into fashion, accessories, sports, beauty, interior, and industrial design industries. We are happy to be back again Live On Stage in Göteborg and offer Streaming Online on six dates (two more!), as you prefer. Be part of the Next Trend community of brands and retailers: last year, over 1,800 guests from more than ten countries joined us. The next Trend Studio Event is curated by the Next Trend Event Team and dedicated to everyone working on consumer design. The seminar is in English. Welcome to the Elite Park Avenue Hotel ballroom venue with speakers on stage, meet colleagues and mingle from morning coffee, during lunch and at the mingle at the end of the day. Our speakers fill the day with presentations. Lunch is served midday and is included. During the day, you can enjoy the ColourHouse Pop-up Store. A+A KEYNOTE: AWAKENING 2026. The fashion industry embraces a new awakening and an ever-evolving array of new looks, influenced by various factors such as the acceleration of technology, an uncertain future, the impact of climate change, and new habits and lifestyles. Changes in economic factors have also swayed consumer preferences in different directions. They are more empowered to choose products that resonate with their values. There is still a desire for high-end goods and quiet luxury products, where minimalism rules, while maximalism is creeping in again together with injections of fun and frivolous details.  We are seeing a new take on sensuality with a strong interest in seduction,  freedom and openness to display the body with a certain fetish passion. The importance of rest, sleeping cycle, and self-care in creating balance within our hectic lives forces consumers to be more mindful, taking action on what is best for the body, mind, and soul.  Introspection, spirituality, and a visionary journey towards a collective consciousness are awakening the senses as part of our process of evolution.   For aw2025-26 (26.1), we explore new parameters of a more modern aesthetic driven by the need for personalization, sustainability, awareness, self-care and higher consciousness.

Meet Robbie Sinclair, the FS Youth Director who succeeded on stage last season with the Next Trend audience, presenting forecasting with the passion we all need in the design industry.
